When you learn that something you held dear about your faith is not actually true, how do you journey through that doubt? Instead of walking away, it's actually an opportunity to deconstruct and discover an even more authentic faith through the process of reconstruction. Pastor Ben Cachiaras outlines what deconstruction is and how to navigate a crisis of faith by following this pathway - Construction → Deconstruction → Reconstruction

We got questions. But we don’t always know where to go with them. Or if it’s even safe to ask. This series gives us a chance to ask some good questions. Hard questions. Real life questions about God, faith, social issues and life. Based on the questions that keep surfacing, this series will get honest and real with some important, pressing, and personal questions like… Is it dumb to believe in God? What would a professional Christian Counselor say about what’s going on in my life? What are some ways I can get better mental health? I keep seeing Christians walk away from God, and others talk about “deconstructing” their faith. What’s happening and how should I think about this? With all the scary global events, the deterioration of societal morals, and the increase in weird weather catastrophes -- are we in the end times?

This plan is not just FOR you, but what He will do for others THROUGH you. The call to serve the world with our life is not just one moment, it’s every moment. When you boil down being a Christian, you come up with three core components. Jesus taught and modeled these essential elements and invites us to follow the same path to the "Good Life." We call it the Mountain Walk. This part of a three-part series focuses on Loving Others through holding onto others.

Take a look at the path your life is on. Where are you headed? What qualities are forming inside of you? How do you act every day? Who are you becoming? Scripture promises when we walk by God’s Spirit it produces fruit that changes who we are on the inside -- where our roots go down. And it changes how we act on the outside, where our boots hit the pavement every day. The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. These behaviors are outcomes of walking with God’s Spirit. It also describes the person God (and everyone else) wants you to be. But we will not become that person without God’s help to change. Some of those changes are on the inside, where our roots go down. And some of those changes are on the outside, where our boots hit the pavement. Are you ready to sink your roots into God, so you can bear the fruit of God’s Spirit?
