We’re kicking off a brand new series exploring one of the most misunderstood books of the Bible, the Book of Leviticus. Often skipped or overlooked, this book reveals something powerful about God’s heart and ultimately points us to Jesus Christ. Through the imagery of the Tabernacle, we see how God made a way for sinful people to approach a holy God and how every part of that system was preparing the way for Jesus. The message of Leviticus is not just about rules or rituals. It is about a God who keeps calling His people back to Himself.
 
Because of Jesus, the veil is torn and we can now come boldly into God’s presence.

At Mountain Christian Church, we may not sit on a literal mountain — but Jesus calls His people to live like a city on a hill. Through expanded outreach and the Epicenter, we believe lives will be changed physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

This week, we learned what it means to live forgiven—and to forgive. As we close this series, we declare a commitment to live with a forgiving spirit. We’re not making resolutions, we’re making declarations. This message calls us to move from “I hope” to “I declare” by taking responsibility for our lives with God’s help and the power of the Holy Spirit. Instead of blaming others or living with a victim mentality, we’re challenged to look in the mirror, own our part, and take action, because faith without action is dead. From Genesis to the teachings of Jesus, Scripture shows that God designed us to be responsible people who grow, heal, and overcome. You may have been hurt, wronged, or even victimized, but in Christ you don’t have to stay stuck. Real transformation begins when we stop the blame game, embrace repentance, and step forward in faith, declaring that the buck stops with us.
